Biography Zhichao Pei did his PhD degree in Chemistry at Royal Institute of Technology (Sweden) in 2006 under the supervision of Prof. Olof Ramstrom. From 2007 till 2010, he was a senior researcher and R&D manager of biochip at Attana AB in Sweden. Since 2010, he has been a chair professor at Northwest A&F University (China), where his research interests are supramolecular self-assembly, nanomedicine, drug delivery, glyconanomaterials, biosensors and biointerfaces.

Biography Leyong Wang was born in Shangdong, China. He received a B.S. degree from Changzhou Univ. (1994) and his Ph.D. degree from Nanjing Univ., China in 2000 with Professor Honwen HU, the academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences. After postdoctoral stay at Institute of Chemistry@CAS (2000-2002) with Prof. Youliang Hu, Université de Bourgogne, France with Dr. Jean-Claude Chambron and Prof. Roger Guilard (2002-2003), and Mainz Univ. with Dr. Voker Böhmer (2003-2004), he then became a Humboldt Research Fellow in Erlangen-Nürnberg Univ., Germany affiliated with Professor John A Gladysz. Since 2006, he has been specially appointed as Full Professor of Organic & Materials Chemistry at Nanjing Univ., China. He assumed the position of the vice-Director of Key Lab. of Mesocopic Chemisty, Ministry of Education of China (MOE) in 2016. He was selected as the Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC) In 2013.

Biography Yuxin Pei did her PhD in 1998 in material science at China Textile University (Donghua University at present) in Shanghai. After a two-year postdoctoral training at Zhejiang University, she moved to Europe and worked as post-doctoral fellow at Lund University, Royal Institute of Technology, Technical University of Denmark, and Heidelberg University. Since 2010, she has been a full professor of chemistry at Northwest A&F University. Her current research interest is functional nanomaterials for biological and medicinal applications.

Biography Xiao-Yu Hu is Professor of Organic and Material Chemistry. She obtained her Ph.D. in pharmaceutical chemistry from the Chengdu Institute of Biology (CAS) in 2011. After postdoctoral research with Prof. Leyong Wang, she joined Nanjing University as an associate research professor in 2013. In 2016, she joined University of Duisburg-Essen as a senior AvH Fellow (“The Humboldt Fellowship for Experienced Researcher”) working with Prof. Carsten Schmuck. Since 2018, she has been appointed as the Full Professor of Organic Chemistry at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. Her research interests focus on supramolecular self-assembly and the construction of functional supramolecular materials. Dr. Xiao-Yu Hu has authored or coauthored over 60 research publications such as Acc. Chem. Res., J. Am. Chem. Soc., Nat. Commun., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. et al. She has been recognized by the 2018 Outstanding Young Scholar of Jiangsu Province and been appointed as the Editorial Board Member of RSC Advance (since 2016), Frontiers in Chemistry (since 2017), and Chinese Chemical Letters (since 2018).
