Biography

Tao Tu obtained his Ph.D. degree at Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2003 under the supervision of Prof. Li-Xin Dai. Between 2003 and 2005, he was a postdoctoral fellow at University of Montreal, Canada, working with Prof. James. D. Wuest. From 2005 to 2009, he was a research assistant at Bonn University, Germany, working with Prof. Karl Heinz D?tz. In the meantime, he was awarded two-year Humboldt (AvH) Research Fellowship. In 2009, he joined Fudan University, where he is currently Professor of Organic Chemistry. His interests are in supramolecular organometallics and their potential application in catalysis and sensing.
