Biography

I was born in Qingdao. I studied under the supervision of Xuhong Qian as a master in East China Univ. Sci. Tech. and then got my PhD withTony D. James in 2015, Univ. Bath, UK. After that, I worked as a postdoc for Eric V. Anslyn.In Oct. 2018, I joined Xi’an Jiaotong University as an independent PI. My research interests include organic synthesis to prepare small molecules that can be utilized to understand and exploit biological/environmental systems, mainly in the fluorescent detection of ROS, carbohydrates, self-propagating cascades for nerve agents and combination of small molecular fluorescent probe with supporting materials, such as graphene oxide, porous silicon material, hydrogels.
