Biography

Xiaojun Peng received his Ph.D. in 1990 at Dalian University of Technology. After completing postdoctoral research in Nankai University, he has been working at Dalian University of Technology since 1992. In 2001 and 2002, he has been a visiting scholar in Stockholm University and Northwestern University, respectively. Currently, he is a professor and the director of State Key Laboratory of Fine Chemicals of China in Dalian University of Technology, and Academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences. He has been listed in "Highly Cited Researchers" by Thomson Reuters since 2015. His research interests cover photo-driven intelligent chemicals, including fluorescent chemosensors, photosensitizers for theranostics, and related chemical product engineering.
