Biography

Dr Pfeffer (appointed at Deakin as lecturer in 2004, associate professor in 2016) pursues supramolecular chemistry research, in particular anion recognition and sensing using conformationally preorganised norbornylogous frameworks.  He also leads several medicinal chemistry programs including the synthesis of antimicrobial peptide mimics and the development of fluorescent scriptaid analogues as HDAC inhibitors.
