Gang YU is Professor in School of Environment, Tsinghua University. He is the winner of National Natural Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars in 2006, the Seventh Beijing Famous Teacher Award in 2011 and Distinguished Professor of Chang Jiang Scholars in 2012. He also won the First Prize of Natural Science Award of the Ministry of Education in 2014 and the Second Prize of National Natural Science Award in 2017. He is the executive director and secretary-general of the China Urban Science Research Association and Vice-President and Secretary-General of Water Environment. His research interests mainly focus on control theory of persistent organic pollutants.
