Jiakuan YANG is Dean of School of Environmental Science and Engineering, Huazhong University of Science and Technology. His ongoing research projects are 1) recycling technologies of solid waste; 2) recycling technologies and management of e-waste; 3) disposal of hazardous wastes; 4) recycling and management of sewage sludge. He has published more than 170 SCI papers in journals such as Water Research and Environ. Sci. Technol. He is the State Council Expert for Special Allowance. He has won the First Prize of Natural Science Award of the Ministry of Education (ranking 1st) and First Prize of Science and Technology Advancement Award of Hubei Province (ranking 1st).
