Zhang LIN is Professor and Associate Dean at the school of Environmental and Energy, South China University of Technology. She is the winner of National Natural Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars and Distinguished Professor of Chang Jiang Scholars. She has published more than 180 papers in SCI journals with citations over 3000 times in total. She holds 23 patents in the recent 5 years, including 7 PCT patents. She performs research in the fields of: 1) recycling and concentrating of heavy metal from industrial sludge via controlling the crystal growth, 2) microbial mineralization of heavy metal, 3) adsorption technologies for water treatment and resources reuse, and 4) photoreduction of CO₂ via metal-organic frameworks
