Thomas Choong Shean YAW obtained his Ph.D. at the University of Cambridge. He is now the Research Coordinator in the department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering. He was involved in more than ten major research projects with support fund of approximately RM 6 million in total. He has published more than 100 papers in leading scientific journals and conference proceedings. He was a member of the National Advisory Committee for the Symposium of Malaysian Chemical Engineers, and the International Conference on Chemical and Biological Process Engineering. His ongoing research programs are separation processes and process engineering.
