Say Leong ONG is currently Professor in National University of Singapore. He is also the head of Internal Auditor Panel for Singapore Water Authority (since 2004) as well as the chairman of Singapore National Technical Committee on Drinking Water Quality Standards (since 2006). For the outstanding contribution in the field of water treatment in Singapore, he has acquired Public Service Star (BBM), National Day Awards in 2016 and International Green Apple Award for Environmental Best Practice in 2016. His studies mainly focus on: 1) advanced technology for water and wastewater treatment; 2) water quality enhancement; 3) modeling of water quality enhancement systems; 4) sustainable urban water resources management.
