Bin CAO is currently an Associate Professor in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, NTU, Singapore, and he obtained Ph.D. in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2008. His research has focused on highly interdisciplinary topics on applied fundamentals of microbial biofilms to understand and address environmental sustainability issues. He is the winner of The 2018 Chinese-American Professors in Environmental Engineering and Science (CAPEES)/Nanova Frontier Research Award. He is now the Editorial Board Member of Environment International and the Associate Editor of Water Research.
